EazyDiner is India’s largest restaurant reservation and concierge service application, it allows you to seek and reserve for restaurant tables and dining services. EazyDiner was launched in 2015 by Vir Sanghvi, an Indian print and TV journalist, columnist, and talk show host and former Oberoi Group President Kapil Chopra. The headquarter of EazyDiner is located in Gurgaon, Haryana. It also includes Sachin Pabreja, Sue Reitz, Shruti Kaul, Manish Kutula and Ruchika Dhamija among its founders. 

In 2018, EazyDiner had raised $5.9 million (INR 41 crore) in a Series B funding round led by Denlow Investment Trust and early-stagee investment company Beenext. The Funding round closed the value of $40.3 million (INR 280 crore) and comes almost nine months following its last generated capital in a funding round led by the current investor such as DSG Consumer Partners and Saama Capital.

Since its launch, The Restaurant table reservation venture has raised more than $10 million (INR 70 crore). A remarkable section of the new investment was used by the company to expand its current and as well as its loyalty program.

In 2018, EazyDiner started the country’s most elite and strong dining program. Teamed up with American Express, ‘EazyDiner Prime’. The reservation portal top features consists more than of India’s best restaurants curated based on users review and feedback. The application provides vital advantages with big savings every time an EazyDiner Prime user eats out. 

EazyDiner Prime runs with American Express in India and Dubai. Marquee restaurants that are bookable only on EazyDiner Prime such as Indian Accent (New Delhi), Megu (The Leela Palace Mumbai), Masala Library (Bandra-Kurla, Mumbai), Chicken Kitchen (Grand Hyatt, Mumbai), Wasabi by Morimoto (Taj Mahal Delhi and Towers Mumbai). Gaggan in Bangkok, which is been ranked as Asia’s best restaurant since the past four years is also available on EazyDiner Prime.

The Food tech market has a similar status, billion-dollar companies such as Zomato and Swiggy prevail the space. According to RedSeer Consulting, there are over 15 lakh orders on a daily average, Zomato generates more than 5.2 lakh orders and Swiggy generates more than six lakh orders every day.
